Requirements to Enroll in the ITA High School Competition in 2025
The Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica competition aims to select candidates who hold a high school diploma for filling vacancies in the Active Official Engineers’ Corps (QOEng) and the Reserve of the Aerospace, providing higher education formation (Undergraduate Course) in engineering specialties of interest to the Aerospace Sector and, in particular, the Brazilian Air Force.
Those interested in the ITA 2025 competition must meet several requirements such as being a natural-born Brazilian, of both genders, not turning 25 years of age by December 31, 2025, the year of enrollment for the Undergraduate Course in Engineering at ITA, which means being at most 23 years old by December 31 of this year, having completed or being in the process of completing high school in 2024, among other requirements.

It is worth mentioning that the undergraduate courses in Engineering offered in the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica competition have a duration of five years, with the first two years covering the Fundamental Course, which includes basic Engineering content, and the last three years corresponding to the Professional Courses, specific to each Engineering specialty.

Registration for the ITA high school competition must be done exclusively online at the ITA Entrance Exam website, from June 3, 2024, to July 17, 2024. The fee for registering for the ITA high school competition is R$ 195. However, there is the possibility of requesting a waiver.
The classification stages of the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica competition are divided into the educational exam stages, with a single-day test consisting of objective questions in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English, scheduled to be held on October 13, 2024, educational exam with tests on four days, consisting of essay questions in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, an Essay, and objective questions in Portuguese, slated for November 5 to 8, 2024.
