CEFET-MG Launched Exam For EBTT Professor With 16 Vacancies In Eight Cities In Minas Gerais. Check Positions, Salaries, Stages Of The Selection Process And Application Deadline.
The Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG) announced the opening of the public competition governed by Notice No. 01/2025, with 16 vacancies for the position of Professor of the Federal Teaching Career of Basic, Technical, and Technological Education (EBTT). The opportunities are distributed among eight municipalities, covering various areas of knowledge and different departments.
The goal is to reinforce the teaching staff and meet the growing demand for quality education in technical, technological, and undergraduate courses offered by the institution.

Each vacancy is for a 40-hour weekly regime with Exclusive Dedication (DE), requiring specific training compatible with the intended area.
Participation Requirements
To compete, it is necessary to possess the minimum required qualification for the area, which can range from graduation, specialization, master’s or doctoral degrees.
In addition, the candidate must be up to date with their electoral obligations and, if male, also with military service. It is required to have Brazilian or Portuguese nationality (in the latter case, supported by the Equality Statute).
Salary And Benefits
Salaries vary according to the qualification presented:
- Graduation: R$ 6,180.86
- Improvement: R$ 6,798.94
- Specialization: R$ 7,417.03
- Master’s: R$ 9,271.29
- Doctorate: R$ 13,288.85
In addition to the base salary and compensation for qualifications, the employee will be entitled to:
- Food allowance of R$ 1,000.00
- Transportation allowance
- Childcare allowance
- Reimbursement for supplemental health insurance, in accordance with current legislation
Competition Stages And Candidate Evaluation
The selection process will consist of five stages:
Written Exam – of a qualifying and eliminatory nature, addressing specific knowledge of the area of activity.
Didactic Exam – presentation of a class to evaluate the candidate’s communication and didactic ability.
Practical Exam – when applicable, to assess specific technical skills.
Research Project Defense – presentation and argumentation on proposals in the area of activity.
Title Evaluation – scoring based on academic education, experience, and scientific production.
The written exam is scheduled for November 23, 2025, with locations and times to be announced on the final registration card, available from November 17.

The validity period of the competition is two years, which may be extended for an equal period.

Applications must be made exclusively through the website www.concursopublico.cefetmg.br.
The candidate must fill out the electronic form, choose the desired vacancy, and pay the registration fee of R$ 250.00 by the deadline.
There is a possibility of requesting an exemption from the fee for candidates registered in CadÚnico or bone marrow donors, provided that the deadlines and procedures established in the notice are respected.
