The Department of Transit (Detran) – DF is preparing to launch a new competition with hundreds of vacancies. According to official announcements, there will be 182 vacancies for the position of Traffic Agent, as well as opportunities for the position of Specialist in Traffic Activities, both requiring a higher education degree.
Change of Nomenclature in the Public Competition Detran
The Detran competition will offer 645 vacancies, including authorized and appointed positions, for various positions in DF. This forecast includes vacancies for the positions of Traffic Agent, Analyst in Traffic Activities, Specialist in Traffic Activities, and Technician in Traffic Activities.
Although the public competition of Detran is still in the planning phase, expectations are high, as the agency seeks to fill important positions for improving its services and ensuring safety in transit in the Federal District.

How Was the Last Detran Competition?
The most recent Detran DF competition was held in 2022, offering 366 vacancies distributed between the positions of Technician in Traffic Activities and Analyst in Traffic Activities. Salaries ranged from R$ 4,650 to R$ 6,437.50.
The selection process involved stages such as objective test, essay test, Biopsychosocial evaluation for PWD candidates, and Heteroidentification Procedure for black candidates.
