Distribution of vacancies
The MPU 2025 public tender features regional competition.
Candidates must inform the state in which they wish to apply, according to the distribution of vacancies available in the notice. The distribution of vacancies, considering the positions, is as follows:
- Administration Technician: 1 vacancy in each capital of the country and 30 for the Federal District.
- Institutional Police Technician: 1 vacancy for Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Federal District, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins.
- Nursing Technician: 1 vacancy for the Federal District.
- Legal Analyst: 1 vacancy in each capital of the country and 30 for the Federal District.
- Specialized Analyst: 1 vacancy for the Federal District in each specialty.
Registration and Fees
As inscriptions for the MPU public competition will be accepted from 16pm on January 13th to 16pm on February 27th. Candidates must register on the website of Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), the organizing committee of the competition.
The registration fees are R$95 for the career of technician and R$120 for analysts, with payment up to February 28.
Members of low-income families, registered with CadÚnico, and bone marrow donors can request exemption from the registration fee between January 13st and 15th, also on the FGV website.
MPU exam dates
The MPU public tender exams are scheduled for the day May 4 and will be applied in all capitals of the country, including the Federal District.
Candidates will take objective and discursive tests in different shifts, according to the position applied for:
- analysts: from 8pm to 12:30pm.
- technicians: from 15pm to 19:30pm.
The discursive tests will not be applied to candidates for the position of institutional police technician, who will carry out objective tests, Physical Fitness Test (TAF), medical evaluation and training program.
Structure of the objective test
The objective test for all positions will include 80 questions, being 50 for module I (General Knowledge) and 30 for module II (Specific Knowledge).
To be approved, the candidate must:
- Answer at least 12 questions from module I correctly.
- Answer at least 25 questions from module II correctly.
- Answer at least 45 questions correctly in the objective test.
MPU competition subjects
The subjects vary depending on the position. For example, for administrative technician, the test will include:
Module I:
- Portuguese Language: 20 questions
- Notions of Sustainability: 5 questions
- Notions of Human and Fundamental Rights and Accessibility: 5 questions
Module II:
- Institutional Legislation: 5 questions
- Specific Knowledge: 45 questions
- FOR analysts, the structure is similar, with specific variations depending on the area of activity.
speech test
The discursive test will be applied to all candidates, except for the position of institutional police technician. The assessment will consist of a dissertative-argumentative essay, with 20 to 30 lines, worth up to 40 points. Only the discursive tests of candidates who qualify in the objective test will be corrected, and those who obtain a score lower than 20 points will fail.
TAF, medical examination and training course
Candidates for the position of police officer MPU will not take the discursive test. The first 500 candidates approved in the objective test will be called for the TAF, which will include exercises such as:
- Pull-up bar (male candidates only).
- Static bar test (female candidates only).
- Abdominal flexion.
- 12 minute run.
Those approved will be called for a health examination.
only the 400 candidates The best ranked, according to the competition modality, will participate in the professional training program.
After completing all stages, the MPU competition will be approved and will be valid for two years, with the possibility of being extended for up to four years.
