GDF Opens Registrations for the High School Level Exam for the Positions of Community Health Agent and Environmental Monitor
GDF announced the opening of registrations for the new high school level exam that is offering 1,019 vacancies for health agents and environmental agents. The exam is for candidates with a high school education, with 119 of the 1,019 vacancies available for immediate filling and 900 for a reserve list. Salaries range from R$ 1,988 to R$ 4,485, according to the exam notice.
Roles of Professionals Selected in the High School Level Exam
In total, there will be 602 vacancies for the position of Community Health Agent and 417 for Environmental Monitoring Agents. Those selected for vacancies in the GDF exam, for the positions of Environmental Monitoring Agent, will perform the following tasks;
- Combating Aedes aegypti;
- Capturing scorpions;
- Educational and preventive actions against rats and pigeons;
- Chemical control for vectors;
- Actions for evaluating the quality of water and air.
Meanwhile, those selected for the positions of Community Health Agents will work in promotion, protection, and prevention, family registration, and home visits.

The exam has 17 vacancies for immediate start in the position of Environmental Monitoring Agent and 400 for reserve, with selected candidates working 40 hours per week and receiving an initial salary of R$ 4,485.
For the positions of Community Health Agent, 102 vacancies are available for immediate start and 500 for reserve. In this role, selected candidates will have an initial salary of R$ 1,988 and a work schedule of 40 hours per week.
With the bonuses provided by law, the salary of Community Health Agents can exceed R$ 6,000 and, for Environmental Monitoring Agents, the salary can reach R$ 8,000, including bonuses.
