The bidding process was launched at the end of March; however, the exact value of the contract is kept confidential, with the daily rate ranging between US$ 200 thousand/day and US$ 300 thousand/day.
The chartering of the drillship Amaralina Star will serve a project that will involve the drilling of 27 new oil wells. The system has been developed in partnership with Equinor, the strategic partner of the asset, with operations expected to begin in mid-2024.
