As of this Monday (05), the consultation for the amounts to be received and the payment dates of PIS/PASEP has begun. In this article, you will understand who is entitled and how to consult the benefit.
This Salary Bonus is a benefit granted by the government to workers who earn an average of up to two minimum wages from employers who contribute to PIS or PASEP.
According to the federal government, the consultation for PIS/Pasep is already available in the Digital Work Wallet and on the gov.br portal, but payments have not yet started. This will occur starting February 15. It is important to remember that the deposit will vary according to the worker’s birthday.
The amount of the Salary Bonus for this year ranges from R$ 118 to R$ 1,412. According to the federal government, this amount corresponds to the current minimum wage divided by 12 and multiplied by the number of months worked in the base year, which in this case is 2022.

More than 24 million beneficiaries are expected. The estimate is that the Salary Bonus will be granted to 24.8 million workers, totaling approximately R$ 5 billion.
Of this total of beneficiaries, 21.9 million are private sector workers, who will receive the amount through Caixa Econômica Federal. The other 2.8 million, who are public employees, will receive the amount from Banco do Brasil.
Am I Entitled to the Salary Bonus?
To check if you are entitled to the Salary Bonus, it is essential to meet the eligibility criteria, such as being registered in PIS/Pasep for at least five years and having received from employers who contribute to PIS or PASEP up to two minimum wages in average monthly remuneration during the worked period.
In addition, it is necessary to have worked for at least 30 days, consecutive or not, in the base year considered for assessment, and to have your base year data correctly reported by the employer in the Annual Social Information Report (RAIS) or in eSocial.
The payment schedule begins on the 15th of this month and will take into account the beneficiary’s date of birth. Check the PIS/Pasep payment schedule:

How Payments of PIS/Pasep Will Be Made
As for the payments, at Caixa, they will be primarily made by account credit, when the worker has a checking account, savings account, or Digital Account. At Banco do Brasil, the amount will be credited to a bank account.
