COTEC Has Over 18 Thousand Vacancies in Free Qualification and Training Courses Open to Residents of Goiás with Right to Free Completion Certificates
The Technological Colleges of Goiás (COTEC) announced over 18,000 vacancies in free qualification and training courses through a partnership with the Government of Goiás, via the State Secretary of Resumption (SER), and the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). The free courses have an average duration of 40 to 240 hours, and at the end, students are entitled to free certificates.

Requirements to Participate in COTEC’s Free Courses
To secure registration for opportunities in Goiás, interested individuals must be at least 16 years old and have completed elementary school. Courses are offered in various fields of knowledge such as, for example: Tailoring, Beauty Services, Administrative Routines, Personal Finance, and Culinary Techniques.
The free courses with certificates are available for residents of the following cities: Porangatu, Ceres, Formosa, Jaraguá, Goianésia, Goiás, Goiânia, Cristalina, Palmeiras de Goiás, Anápolis, Catalão, Caiapônia, Goiatuba, Santa Helena de Goiás, Piranhas, and Uruana.

It is important to note that registrations for qualification courses will be open until January 27, while registrations for training courses will be open until March 29. The announcements for each of the free courses and additional registration information can be found on the COTEC website.
The Technological Colleges of Goiás are spread across 17 municipalities in the State, reaching various areas that can develop and expand with the offering of free courses that align with their reality.

The Government of the State of Goiás, through the SER, the Educational and Cultural Radio and Television Foundation (RTVE), and the UFG have joined forces to renew professional qualification and training education and technical courses.
With this renewal, the management of the Technological Colleges of Goiás has become the responsibility of UFG, which carries it out through CETT/UFG, whose mission is to assist in the advancement and strengthening of research, extension, and teaching for Technological Professional Education (EPT) in the State of Goiás.
