CSN and WEG have joined forces to develop sustainable steel by incorporating innovative graphene into its production. After successful lab tests, the companies are now preparing to conduct industrial-scale tests by the end of 2023, aiming to determine the economic viability of this process. Replacing traditional chromium with graphene in the resin used for steel production not only makes the process more sustainable but also gives the final product greater physical strength and durability.
