Applications Open for Free Chinese Language Course in São Luís. There Are 400 In-Person Slots for Beginner to Intermediate Levels in September.

The Confucius Institute at UEMA (Maranhão) opened on Wednesday (27) in-person applications for a free Chinese Language course, offering 400 slots. Interested individuals aged 16 and older can participate, and classes will be held in September at the locations in São Luís, specifically at the Caixeiral Center and at the Paulo VI Campus of UEMA.

The selection will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, with the presentation of personal documents.

How to Enroll in the Free Chinese Language Course in São Luís

Applications for the free course will take place starting August 30, from 10 AM to 12 PM, at Locomotiva Hub – Espaço Secti, located at Avenida Beira Mar, Parque 15 de Novembro, nº 253, Centro.

Structure and Workload of the Free Chinese Language Course

The offered course comprises five levels, from Basic 1 to Intermediate 2, with a total workload of 50 hours for each class. Classes will be in-person at the Caixeiral Center (Praça Benedito Leite) and at the Paulo VI Campus of UEMA.

The proposal is to expand access to the Chinese language through an accessible and structured opportunity.
