University of São Paulo Is Accepting Applications for Redigir, a Free Course Aimed at Those Who Want to Improve Writing and Communication. Classes Are In-Person, on Saturdays, Starting on April 5, with Limited Spots.
If you have always wanted to study at USP, but thought it was impossible, you now have an opportunity that cannot be missed. The university is accepting applications for the Free Course Redigir — a beautiful project, primarily aimed at low-income individuals who want to improve their communication, writing, and even their critical view of the world.
The new course group is set to start on April 5. Classes will run until June 28, always on Saturdays, from 10:30 AM to 12 PM, at ECA-USP, which is the School of Communications and Arts of the university. In other words: it is in-person and located in the city of São Paulo. But look, in addition to being a Free Course, it offers excellent content — with debates, grammar, current events, and practical writing. All of this comes with the USP seal.
What Is Redigir and Why Is It So Important? USP
Created in 1999, the Free Course Redigir was born with the purpose of helping those preparing for college entrance exams by offering reinforcement classes in writing. Over the years, it has evolved into a more comprehensive learning space, going beyond writing and exploring communication as a tool for social transformation. Today, the course is taught by students and professors from USP itself, who work on a voluntary basis.
