The Federal Institute IFSULDEMINAS Is Offering 500 Slots for the Free Course “Treasury Direct for Beginners” in the Online (EAD) Modality. The Course Provides a Certificate at the End!

Through Notice No. 59/2024, the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Southern Minas Gerais (IFSULDEMINAS) has launched registrations for the free course “Treasury Direct for Beginners.” This extension course, offered in a 100% online (EAD) format, is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to understand Treasury Direct and gain skills in the investment area, focusing on business management. There are 500 available slots and no registration fee for participants.

The free online course aims to provide knowledge about Treasury Direct, one of the safest investments in Brazil. It empowers participants to make more informed financial decisions, seeking to maximize returns and minimize risks, according to each investor’s profile and goals.

The course structure includes a total workload of 100 hours, organized into modules covering topics such as inflation, Selic rate, types of fixed income, and the different securities offered by Treasury Direct, such as Treasury Selic, Treasury IPCA, and Treasury Pre-fixed. The course includes theoretical and practical classes, as well as seminars and discussions in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) of IFSULDEMINAS, ensuring a comprehensive experience for participants.

Slots and Scope of the Course

500 slots are available, open to the general public, provided that candidates are at least 16 years old. Since the course is completely online, there are no location restrictions, allowing participation from people across the country, as long as they have internet access.

Selection Criteria

The selection will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning that the first applicants who meet the basic requirements will secure their slots. If all slots are not filled, there will be a new call, with excess applicants placed on a waiting list. Additionally, the notice provides for people with disabilities to participate in the selection process on equal terms with other candidates.

Requirements to Participate in the Online Treasury Direct Course

Those interested in participating in the free Treasury Direct course must be at least 16 years old, in addition to having a CPF, a valid email address, and internet access. It is also important that the candidate has the necessary equipment to attend online classes, as the entire course will be conducted remotely (EAD).

How to Register for the Free Treasury Direct Course at the IF
