New Contest of Detran AC Has Already Had Its Announcement Published and Registrations Will Open Soon. The Public Contest Will Offer 91 Vacancies with Salaries Above R$ 9 Thousand.
The announcement of the Detran AC (State Department of Traffic of Acre) contest was recently published. According to the document, there are 91 vacancies offered for higher education. The opportunities of the public contest are distributed across the careers of Traffic Authority Agent, Systems and Traffic Analyst, Traffic Assistant, Accountant, Civil Engineer, Pedagogue, and Traffic Examiner.

The approved candidates for the public contest vacancies will have benefits such as a Hazardous Duty Allowance of R$ 512.35, a Traffic Activity Gratification of R$ 1,200, a Health Assistance of R$ 900.00, and a Food Allowance of R$ 1,500, which total the final remuneration.

Regarding the organizing body, the Detran contest is organized by the Instituto AOCP, with registrations open from April 23 to May 23, at a cost of R$ 80. The tests are scheduled to be held on July 28.
Those interested in applying for the public contest vacancies must be natural-born or naturalized Brazilians, at least 18 years old, in full exercise of political rights, deemed physically and mentally fit for the position, and possess the required education, among other criteria.
Selection Process of Detran AC
Candidates for the public contest will be evaluated through the application of an Objective Test, Title Evaluation, Physical Aptitude Test for the role of Traffic Authority Agent, Psychotechnical Exam, Medical and Toxicological Exam, Criminal and Social Investigation, and Training Course for the role of Traffic Authority Agent and Traffic Examiner.
The objective test for the Detran AC contest will consist of 60 multiple-choice questions, with 5 alternatives and only one considered correct:
- Ethnic, Social, Geographic, Cultural, Political and Economic Reality of Acre – 5;
- Portuguese Language – 10;
- Computer Science – 5;
- Logical and Mathematical Reasoning – 5;
- Specific Knowledge – 25;
- Constitutional and Administrative Law – 10.
Other Stages of the Public Contest of Detran AC
The criteria for the Title Evaluation can be found in the announcement, with this stage having a maximum of 10 points. The Physical Aptitude Test of the public contest will be conducted and evaluated as described in the Announcement, in the following order: Pull-up Test, Sit-up Test, Push-up Test, and Running.
The Training Course for the roles of Traffic Authority Agent and Traffic Examiner will be conducted in Rio Branco, State of Acre. The stage of the Detran AC announcement will last for 200 classroom hours (for Agent) and 208 classroom hours for Examiner. At the end of each subject, an evaluation consisting of 10 questions will be conducted, worth 1 point each.
Those who will fail are:
- a) those who score less than 7 (seven) points in any of the discipline evaluations of the course;
- b) those who score less than 7 (seven) points in the final grade of the training course;
- c) those who miss more than 25% (twenty-five percent) of the classes taught; among others.
