The Atualizo channel points out Itaú, Banco Inter, and BTG Pactual as the most robust banks for 2026, highlighting credit, security, and international expansion, while offering tips on digital services and strategic financial movement for the coming year.
The best bank for 2026 was the subject of an analysis published by the Atualizo channel on YouTube, which highlighted three financial institutions considered more robust for credit, security, and global expansion: Itaú, Banco Inter, and BTG Pactual. The video also mentioned Mercado Pago, Nubank, DM App, and Efí Bank.
The presenter stated that he observed significant changes in credit granting during January and February. According to him, Mercado Pago and Nubank recently increased limits, but this did not alter their main strategy for 2026, which will continue to focus on banks considered more solid.
He explained that he decided to show which institutions he intends to use more frequently and why he believes in them. During the video, he also encouraged subscribers to comment on which banks they intend to prioritize and what experiences they have had recently.

Itaú appears as the main bet
The first bank mentioned as the main focus was Itaú. The presenter stated he believes the institution should further expand its credit offering to compete in the financial market, especially given the continuous growth of Nubank.
According to him, this assessment has been made since October of last year. The content creator stated that he has already received new limits and reported that the bank is trying to direct him to the Uniclass segment, including offering a credit card.
Despite this, he explained that he avoids accepting cards with annual fees because he already uses financial products linked to his wife’s name, who has a better credit score. The presenter stated that he sees no advantage in maintaining paid cards just to access additional limits.
Even so, he classified Itaú as a very strong, robust institution with a consolidated structure. For him, the bank could gain even more space in 2026 due to the expansion of credit offerings and operational capacity.
Banco Inter expands international operations
Banco Inter appeared as the second institution highlighted in the video. The presenter stated that he follows the bank’s news and movements through the company’s official forum, where he observed new strategies and international expansion.
According to him, Inter received authorization from the Federal Reserve and the Florida regulatory body to operate as a consolidated bank in the United States. The expectation presented in the video is that the bank will open branches in Miami.
The presenter also highlighted that Inter recorded record profits in the last year and has been expanding operations related to credit, loans, and financing. He stated that the “my credit” area has started to show new financial profile analyses.
Another point mentioned involves the management of collections. According to the video, the bank stopped outsourcing collections and started to carry out this process internally. According to the analysis presented, this demonstrates the need for cash and operational expansion.
The content creator also stated that he considers Inter a more robust bank globally than Nubank. He cited features such as a global account, dollar conversion, a piggy bank in American currency, and the possibility of international withdrawals.
During a trip to Orlando, the presenter reported using Inter’s services for financial transactions outside Brazil. He declared that he intends to increase investments in dollars within the bank’s platform throughout 2026.
BTG Pactual is linked to security
The third bank mentioned was BTG Pactual. The presenter explained that he intends to use the institution mainly for daily financial transactions and also for products related to investments and asset security.
According to him, BTG offers a greater sense of security for storing money. The video highlighted features such as a card with 1% cashback, a global account, and integration between investments and traditional banking transactions.
The presenter stated that the three chosen banks have stricter criteria for credit approval. Even so, he considers these institutions safer given the current financial scenario and more suitable for those seeking stability.
He also commented on platforms like Revolut, Wise, and Nomad. According to the analysis presented, these services would be more suitable for international travel than for keeping money idle permanently.
In the end, the content creator stated that Banco do Brasil and Caixa Econômica should function as main banks for most people. Among Santander, Bradesco, and Itaú, he declared a preference for Itaú. Among Nubank, Mercado Pago, and Inter, he chose Banco Inter as the best bank for 2026.
Financial services appear as a bonus
In addition to the three main institutions, the video also presented two financial services considered complementary bets for 2026: DM App and Efí Bank. The presenter stated that he intends to use these platforms more during the year to explore different possibilities for financial transactions and new digital products.
According to him, these services should function as secondary alternatives within the financial strategy adopted for 2026. Even while highlighting these extra options, he reinforced that Itaú, Banco Inter, and BTG Pactual will continue to be the priority institutions within the planned financial routine for the next period.
