Constructor Company Brazil Established Itself as the Company That Submitted the Lowest Price for the Comperj Paving Projects

Constructor Company Brazil (ECB) signed a contract worth R$ 125.4 million with Petrobras to carry out the paving works at Comperj in Itaboraí (RJ). As anticipated by BE Petróleo, the mining company, of which Mota Engil Engenharia is a shareholder, submitted the lowest bid for the tender. Other bids related to refinery works are still ongoing. In the Integrated Control Center (CIC) tender at Comperj, Lopez Marinho Engenharia e Construção, which was leading the process, was disqualified for failing to meet the invitation requirements.

The company had proposed R$ 45.5 million, exceeding the proposals from CPL (R$ 57.9 million), Engecampo (R$ 74.9 million), CCNE (R$ 99.3 million), ECB/AMG (R$ 112.9 million), and Elos/Método Potencial (R$ 128.4 million).

Meanwhile, Norteng is negotiating with Petrobras for the contract to construct the Comperj pipe-rack. The company’s offer was approximately R$ 160 million, surpassing the bid from MIP Engenharia, which was around R$ 170 million.

BE Petróleo also reported that Petrobras has postponed the submission of proposals for the compressed air and spheres interconnection tenders to September. The submission of bids for the utilities tender is scheduled for October.
