Public Competition Announcement of Inmetro Has Been Released, Check the Positions, Dates, and Salaries. The Inmetro Competition Is One of the Most Anticipated and Has 860 Immediate Positions and CR.
This Tuesday (05), the announcement of the Inmetro public competition was released. The announcement was published in the Official Gazette of the Union and is also available on the website of the organizing body, Idecan. The registration period is open until January 8. The competition offers positions for analysts and researchers.
Check the Positions Offered in the Inmetro Competition
In total, Inmetro offers 860 positions, with 100 for immediate hiring and 760 for the formation of a reserve list in positions such as Executive Analyst in Metrology and Quality and Researcher – Technologist in Metrology and Quality.
Those interested in competing for the public competition must have a complete bachelor’s degree in any field. It is worth noting that 5% of the positions will be allocated for people with disabilities and another 20% will be reserved for black candidates.

There will be 60 positions plus 370 reserve list for Executive Analyst in Metrology and Quality and 40 positions plus 390 reserve list for Researcher Technologist in Metrology and Quality. The initial salary for those approved in the public competition is R$ 8,700.31. The approved candidates are also entitled to a food allowance of R$ 658.
Interested parties must be natural-born or naturalized Brazilians, be in a regular situation in the country, if foreign, be at least 18 years of age on the date of investiture, be in full enjoyment of political rights, be up to date with electoral obligations and, in the case of male candidates, also with military obligations, be duly registered with the Regional Council of the Class, when applicable, as well as being in compliance with the legal obligations of the supervisory body and other qualification requirements for the exercise of the position, possess the required qualifications for the position, and must be in regular situation with the supervisory body.
Learn How to Participate in the Inmetro Public Competition
Those interested in competing for one of the positions must access the website of the organizing body, Idecan, by January 8, 2024. The registration fee is R$ 125. Candidates who are bone marrow donors or are registered in CadÚnico are exempt from the fee.
Those who register for the Inmetro competition will be assessed with objective multiple-choice tests, a written test, a qualification assessment based on titles and professional experience, a biopsychosocial evaluation applied to candidates registered as persons with disabilities who opted to compete for the positions reserved for persons with disabilities at the time of registration for the competition.
The objective tests of the public competition will be held on April 16, 2024, in the cities of Goiânia (GO), Brasília (DF), Porto Alegre (RS), Fortaleza (CE), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), and Salvador (BA). Candidates will be evaluated through 70 multiple-choice questions on the following subjects:
- Knowledge about Inmetro: 20 questions;
- Foreign Language: 05 questions;
- Logical Reasoning: 05 questions;
- Portuguese Language: 30 questions;
- Job-specific Knowledge: 20 questions.
The written test will consist of an essay composed of themes related to the program content outlined in the announcement.
