Artificial Intelligence Tool Developed by Dataprev and Integrated with the Digital CTPS App Connects Candidates to SINE Job Openings, Prioritizes Vulnerable Populations, and Expands the Reach of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Employment Policies
The EmpregAI, an artificial intelligence tool launched in June 2024 and integrated with the Digital Work Card app, has already helped 10,504 Brazilians find jobs through the SINE network. The platform cross-references data from registered profiles with open job positions and sends personalized recommendations directly to workers.
Since its debut, the system has recorded accelerated growth in use. By July 2025, 15 million alerts were sent to 3.4 million users. Of those, 191,373 applied and participated in selection processes, highlighting the impact of the solution on labor intermediation in Brazil.

How the Technology Works
Developed by Dataprev, the resource utilizes artificial intelligence algorithms to analyze qualifications, experiences, and professional goals. The information is compared with the job opportunities registered in the National Employment System (SINE), resulting in a faster and more efficient matching between candidates and companies.
The system not only identifies the most compatible job openings but also sends real-time notifications to workers. This mechanism ensures that users have access to opportunities as they become available, increasing the chances of hiring.
According to the Secretary of Qualification, Employment, and Income of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Magno Lavigne, this functionality represents an important step in modernizing the public employment system. He emphasized that the agility in applying and quickly filling positions is essential in a high-demand labor market.
Focus on Vulnerable Populations
One of the differentiators of EmpregAI is its service to people in situations of social vulnerability. By July 2025, 732,000 notified users were registered in the Unified Registry. Within this group, 1,900 workers were hired directly from the app’s recommendations.
Furthermore, the system offers integration with qualification policies. The Digital Work Card app itself suggests courses and training that enhance the chances of professional insertion, strengthening the link between employment and skills development.
According to information from the federal government, the tool is not limited to job referrals. It also serves as a support resource for professional development, guiding workers at different stages of their career.
SINE Network Celebrates 50 Years
The initiative is part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the SINE Network, coordinated by the Ministry of Labor and Employment. The system, present throughout the country, is responsible for labor intermediation, providing access to unemployment insurance, and offering labor benefits.
With over 1,500 branches spread across Brazil, the network operates in partnership with states, capitals, and municipalities. The goal is to ensure decentralized services to the population, expanding the reach of public employment services.
The use of the Digital CTPS app reinforces this strategy by offering the same services found in physical units in the digital environment. Among them are consultation of employment contracts, previous links, benefit requests, and extracts from CAGED and FGTS.

Modernization and Social Impact
EmpregAI is part of a broader effort for modernization of employment policy in Brazil. According to data from the Ministry of Labor and Employment, the combination of technology, professional qualification, and digital services has the potential to increase employability and reduce access barriers.
This information was released in official statements from the MTE and Dataprev, which highlighted the impact of the system both on labor intermediation and on servicing low-income citizens.
With the approaching celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the SINE Network, EmpregAI establishes itself as one of the main recent innovations in the public employment system, enhancing the connection between companies offering job openings and workers seeking formal placement.
Have you updated your registration in the Digital Work Card and do you know all the features of EmpregAI? Do you believe that this technology can truly facilitate access for Brazilians to the formal labor market, especially for those in situations of social vulnerability, or is there still a need to expand outreach to ensure more people have the opportunity to find jobs through the tool?
