Internship – International Trade

Location: Jundiaí

Will support the following activities:

• Assisting in monitoring the delivery deadlines of all parts with suppliers and entering information into the system;
• Supporting the COMEX area in routine activities: issuing purchase orders, supplier registration, correcting purchase orders, and providing information to other areas of the company;
• Conducting air/maritime freight quotes;
• Issuing export documents, following up with Production, and informing the client abroad;
• Ensuring that the order book of imported and exported items remains updated;
• Assisting in preparing performance indicators as directed by the area manager.

– Must be pursuing a degree in Administration, International Trade, or Logistics;

– Availability to intern from 7 AM to 2 PM from Monday to Friday;

– Intermediate/Advanced English;

– Intermediate/Advanced Excel;

– Communicative.

Activities:

• Identifying purchasing needs, understanding orders so they can be executed correctly;
• Reviewing material requisitions, evaluating quotes, and making purchases within the company standards and according to product specification needs;
• Inventory management;
• Responsible for the entire purchasing cycle, from requisitions, supplier deadlines, prices, invoices, and all demands that arise in the process.

Requirements:

• Having a sense of priority and ease in making decisions;
• Having experience in the purchasing area in Pump Industry, Rotating Equipment, or Machining;
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production, or related fields;
• Advanced Office Package;
• Desirable knowledge in Mechanical Seals.
