Transdata completed the project in innovation and engineering solution with the multimodal transport of a 160-ton locomotive to the Alcoa plant in Juruti (PA). For this operation, Transdata developed a loading and unloading solution with a hydraulic gantry crane with a capacity of 500 tons. The road transport of this locomotive started in Hortolândia with destination to the port of Belém in a journey of approximately 3 thousand kilometers. Transdata carried out the river shipment with the navigation route along the Amazon River to the Alcoa plant in Juriti, where the locomotive was unloaded and, later, unloaded on the rails.
