Inspired by Extreme Projects, Hacksmith Industries Launches a Titanium Knife with 21 Functions and a Blade Capable of Cutting Other Knives.
Hacksmith Industries, known for its amazing projects inspired by movies, has just launched a multifunctional knife that promises to be the most complete and durable ever created by the team. Named Smith Blade, the equipment combines a compact design, lightweight, and a powerful blade capable of cutting a Swiss army knife in half.
Blade Made to Last
The most important feature of the Smith Blade is its M390 steel blade. Manufactured in Germany, this steel is used in the Pro version of the knife and was chosen for its high cutting performance, as well as excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and great toughness. Therefore, the user won’t need to worry about constant sharpening.
According to Hacksmith, this choice offers a balance between durability and efficiency.

Lightweight Titanium, Functional Design
The structure of the knife is made of grade 5 titanium, which ensures both lightness and robustness. Weighing only 95 g and measuring about 126.4 mm, the Smith Blade easily fits into EDC kits, pockets, or even clipped to clothing.
In addition, it is made up of 35 pieces, all integrated compactly. There is also a spring-loaded compartment for bits, designed to facilitate the use of accessories included with the knife.

The Smith Blade is not just a powerful blade. It incorporates 21 different functions within its structure, making it a true survival tool. Among the features are:

Hacksmith has launched three versions of the Smith Blade. The simplest, called Lite, costs around US$ 129 and offers the first seven items from the features list. This version already comes in five anodized colors, along with other options with special coatings.
The Standard Edition, with 14 functions, will be sold for approximately US$ 199.
The most complete version is the Pro Edition, which includes all 21 features, the M390 steel blade, and a tritium vial that glows in the dark. This model costs US$ 289. For the most enthusiasts, there is also the Founder Edition, limited to 998 numbered units, with a special finish.
Pre-Sale on Kickstarter
All versions of the knife are available at a discount through a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The Lite version, for example, is priced at US$ 99. Delivery is scheduled for October, with shipping calculated at the end of the campaign.
Despite the common risks associated with such campaigns, Hacksmith has successfully delivered dozens of products and has an active online store. Therefore, fans of technology and compact tools have reasons to be optimistic about the Smith Blade.
