The Private Energy Generator Engie Brazil Rescheduled for October 27 and 29 the Auctions It Plans to Hold for the Contracting of Renewable Energy
The renewable energy auctions will allow the company to meet the demand from the Southeast and Midwest markets. The Brazilian unit of the French Engie has not yet disclosed the specific amount of energy it seeks.

About the Renewable Energy Auction of Engie Brazil
In the renewable energy auction on October 27, the company will sign a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) starting in 2023. The auction is aimed at companies with projects in development, construction, or operation.
The Engie auction on October 29 will contract energy for five years starting in 2022. In this auction, interested parties must register with the Brazilian Chamber of Electric Energy Commercialization (CCEE) as traders, generators, independent, and autonomous.
