Ensco is currently experiencing a new phase of prosperity and new contracts after merging with Rowan, acquiring drilling equipment and services. It was only a matter of time before the first global contracts began to happen. It lost some contracts in rigs in Brazil in the early stages of the crisis, including being involved in a legal dispute with Petrobras to resolve issues related to rig DS – 5, but that has also been resolved.
