Marine Supervisor
Job Description:
Reports to the OIM, as a member of the offshore leadership team; Responsible for offshore marine organization, leading a team of ballast control operators, crane and deck operators, bosun, and sailor; Execute the marine department of the FPSO, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations; Develops the team through coaching, performance evaluations, feedback, and training; Responsible for discharge, loading, and ballast operations; responsible for lifesaving equipment, cranes, pump house equipment, and ballast and cargo tanks; Ensures quality in the work permit process and risk assessments and coordinates simultaneous operations in areas and systems of their responsibility; Execution of maintenance work orders according to the plan; Responsible for third-party maintenance activities on board, oversight, and quality assurance of suppliers. Ensures proper use of the department budget; Handles emergencies as part of the FPSO emergency team.
Qualifications:
- Barge Supervisor Certification (IMO Res.A.1079);
- STCW II / 2;
- Fluent in English and Portuguese;
- Experience as Supervisor / Superintendant of FPSO Barges;
- Experience as ballast control operator on FPSO preferred;
- Experience on tankers as chief mate is an advantage;
- Knowledge of maintenance management systems.
