Federal Institute of Piauí Offers Opportunities in EAD Courses for Licentiates and Technological Programs at 41 Locations in the State
The Federal Institute of Piauí (IFPI) announced the opening of registrations for the 2025 entrance exam, with 4,150 available spots in licentiate and technology courses in the Distance Education (EAD) modality. The registrations are open from November 6 to December 1, being conducted exclusively through the official IFPI website, according to the site Portal o Dia.
Courses and Distribution of Spots
IFPI offers 83 courses in 41 locations spread across various municipalities in Piauí, allowing students from different regions of the state to access higher education. Among the available courses are areas such as Licentiate in Languages and Technology in Human Resource Management, with durations varying from two to four years. Additionally, IF offers the following EAD courses:
- LICENTIATE IN LANGUAGES
- TECHNOLOGY IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
- LICENTIATE IN SPECIAL AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
- TECHNOLOGY IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
- LICENTIATE IN GEOGRAPHY
- LICENTIATE IN PEDAGOGY
In order to promote inclusion and ensure access to education, IFPI allocated 50% of the spots for candidates from public schools and 5% for people with disabilities, following its affirmative action policy.

Registrations and Fee Waiver
The registration fee for the entrance exam is R$ 40.00, however, low-income candidates can request a fee waiver from November 6 to 17, as per the notice. To request the authorization, candidates must fill out the registration form on the IFPI portal and provide the relevant documentation, which will be verified according to the socioeconomic criteria set forth in the selection process.
Selection Process for EAD Courses
The selection process will be conducted in a single stage, with a written exam in the format of a letter of intent. The written exam will be evaluated based on cohesion, coherence, and textual clarity, with a minimum score of five points required for approval. The exam will take place on January 12, 2025 at IFPI locations throughout the state, ensuring easy access for candidates.
After the exam, IFPI will publish the preliminary results, allowing candidates to appeal if necessary. The final classification will be released on January 31, 2025 and will be available on the IFPI website.
