After The Approval Of The Brazilian Army, New Helicopters Should Receive New Weapons In Single And Mixed Configuration
A new decree from the Brazilian Army, No. 933-EME/C Ex dated December 16, was published on December 23, which approved technical, logistical and industrial requirements for its armament system for helicopters, the so-called EB20-RTLI-04.047.
The approval of the new decree from the Brazilian Army defined that the HA-1A Fennec (AS550 A2) and HM-1A Pantera (AS365 K2) helicopters in their attack configurations should receive the following weapons, in addition to also allowing the accommodation, in flight, of the weapons mounted on the outside of the helicopters:
- .50 Caliber 12.7x99mm Machine Gun;
- 70 mm Unguided Rocket Launcher, compatible with the “Mk 66” class in use by the Army, and with various warheads;
- Air-Ground Missiles With Various Warheads.

In addition to carrying new weapons, the Brazilian Army helicopters will also have targets and images, sensors with an infrared system of the EOP (“Electric-Optical Platform”), white-hot and black-hot modes, daytime and nighttime sensors, distance measuring device with a maximum error of 20m and target illuminator.
