IFB selection processes gather undergraduate, transfer, admission for graduates, and free postgraduate courses in management, education, dance, and languages, with opportunities distributed across different campuses and deadlines defined in specific notices for the second academic semester of 2026.

The Federal Institute of Brasília has opened selection processes for free undergraduate and lato sensu postgraduate courses, with opportunities at different campuses and admission scheduled for the second academic semester of 2026.

The selections include vacancies for candidates who have completed high school, Enem participants, students interested in transferring, and individuals already graduated in higher education.

The opportunities cover areas such as Administration, Public Management, Internet Systems, Events, Management Processes, Dance, Physical Education, Mathematics, Geography, English Literature, Gastronomy, Hospitality, Humanities, and Languages.

There are also specializations focused on public management and the teaching methodology of classical dance, according to notices published by IFB.

Free IFB courses have selection by campus

At the Brasília Campus, the selection process for higher education courses offers admission in Technology in Public Management, Technology in Internet Systems, Technology in Events, Technology in Management Processes, and a Degree in Dance.

The selection requires completion of high school by enrollment and participation in Enem in any edition from 2021 to 2025.

Applications for these courses at the Brasília Campus began on May 19 and continue until June 6, through the IFB Selection Process System.

The unit also informed that it provides a computer with internet access at the Academic Registry of the campus, in Asa Norte, for candidates who need support during the period specified in the notice.

At the Gama Campus, the notice offers 40 free vacancies for the Bachelor’s degree in Administration, also with entry in the second academic semester of 2026.

Candidates who have completed high school and participated in Enem in the editions of 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 can apply.

Registration for Administration at the Gama Campus was available from 10 a.m. on May 14 until 6 p.m. on May 31, 2026, according to the institution’s official page.

The course reinforces IFB’s offer in the management area, with higher education focused on planning, administration, and performance in public and private organizations.

External transfer, internal transfer, and vacancies for graduates

The Estrutural Campus opened selection for admission through external transfer, internal transfer, and diploma holders in the courses of Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics.

The process is intended for the second semester of 2026 and received applications between May 12 and 29, exclusively through an electronic form.

At the Riacho Fundo Campus, the notice includes vacancies in Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature, Technology in Gastronomy, and Technology in Hospitality.

The selection also allows admission through external transfer, internal transfer, and diploma holders, with applications between May 14 and June 3.

The distribution informed by the campus includes 12 vacancies in Geography, 26 in English Literature, 13 in Gastronomy, and 9 in Hospitality, totaling 60 opportunities in this specific selection.

The courses have different shifts and durations, with training ranging from four to eight semesters, according to the notice from the Riacho Fundo Campus.

Free specializations in management, dance, and languages

In addition to undergraduate courses, the IFB published notices for free lato sensu postgraduate courses in areas related to public administration, education, art, and languages.

One of the selections is for the Specialization in Public Management: Governance and Public Policies, offered by the Brasília Campus with 45 vacancies for admission in the second semester of 2026.

The notice for this specialization states that the course belongs to the area of Administration in Applied Social Sciences.

Applications were scheduled from May 18 until 11:59 PM on May 29, 2026, through the IFB’s electronic system, with in-person support service at the Academic Registry of the Brasília Campus on business days.

Also at the Brasília Campus, the IFB opened 30 vacancies for the lato sensu Postgraduate in Classical Dance Teaching Methodology.

The selection requires documentary proof of prerequisites and a motivation letter, indicated in the notice as an eliminatory and classificatory stage.

Applications for Classical Dance Teaching Methodology occur from May 21 to June 21, 2026, by filling out an electronic form and submitting the required documentation.

The training is aimed at the second academic semester of 2026 and adds to the campus offer in the area of dance.

At the Riacho Fundo Campus, the lato sensu Postgraduate in Teaching Humanities and Languages offers 40 vacancies for candidates with a degree in teaching or pedagogy recognized by the Ministry of Education.

The institution reported that the vacancies include open competition and reservations for people with disabilities, PPI candidates, quilombolas, and employees of the DF Department of Education.

The official IFB page notes that registrations for this specialization were open until May 30, 2026, and that classes are scheduled to start on July 30, 2026.

The publication also informs about the preliminary result stage of the document analysis for the reserved vacancies on June 2.

More than 150 vacancies in Federal Institute of Brasília notices

Only in the opportunities with confirmed quantities on the official pages, the notices total at least 215 vacancies, not considering potential vacancies at the Brasília Campus in higher education courses and the Structural Campus not detailed in the consulted publications.

This total includes 40 vacancies in Administration, 60 at the Riacho Fundo Campus for undergraduate studies, 45 in Public Management, 30 in Classical Dance, and 40 in Humanities and Languages.

The selection processes cater to different candidate profiles, from those seeking their first undergraduate degree to professionals who have already completed higher education and intend to advance in academic training.

In each case, the requirements vary according to the mode of entry, course, required documentation, and schedule defined in the responsible campus notice.

How to enroll in IFB selection processes

Interested parties must access the notice corresponding to the chosen course and campus, check requirements, deadlines, documents, and selection criteria, and register through the system or form indicated by IFB.

As the schedules have different dates, the central guidance is to observe the specific period of each opportunity before completing the submission of the application and required documentation.
