The event is being organized by the Ministry of Economy in partnership with the Rede Incluir, the Municipal Secretariat for People with Disabilities, and the State and Municipal National Employment System (SINE).
Antoniel Bastos, coordinator of Rede Incluir, says that the average number of people served per event is 400 and that 40% of them find a job. Rede Incluir is an independent organization that brings together stakeholders involved in the inclusion of People with Disabilities – PcDs and companies in Rio.
Antoniel also states – There is a significant gap in hiring these professionals in the market. Among the difficulties, I can highlight the lack of mobility in the city.
The event will also feature a mobile unit from the Ministry of Economy that will issue work permits on-site for interested individuals.
