The pickup now costs between R$ 167,490 and R$ 238,490. Some configurations became up to R$ 5,000 more expensive, according to the values released for the new line.
Two intermediate versions now offer the 48-volt mild hybrid MHEV system. The technology has already debuted in the new Jeep Renegade hybrid.

Peugeot 408 Griffe 2015 combines a turbo engine, 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds, a 526-liter trunk larger than many compact SUVs, leather, multimedia, cruise control, and a sunroof, but it remains off the radar among fully equipped used cars.

Toyota Hilux Champ emerges as the “mini-work Hilux” that Brazil doesn’t have: for around R$ 81,7 thousand in conversion without taxes, the pickup has a modular chassis, single cab, 2 seats, 2.4 diesel engine, and a popular car price to become a tool for construction, cargo, and small business in Thailand.

Non-alcoholic beer is not always 0.0%: the drink can appear on the breathalyzer, result in a fine of R$ 2,934.70, suspend the driver’s license for 12 months, and even lead the vehicle to be impounded.
According to Fiat, the set promises up to 12% fuel savings, especially in urban routes.

Mild hybrid system improves urban consumption of the Toro 2027
The MHEV system of the Fiat Toro does not function like a traditional hybrid.
In this type of technology, the electric motor does not drive the wheels. The high-voltage battery is also smaller than that used in conventional hybrid models.
The main improvement appears in urban consumption. With ethanol, the Toro went from 6.5 km/l to 7.3 km/l, an increase of 12.3%.
With gasoline, consumption increased from 9.4 km/l to 10.5 km/l, a gain of 11.7%.
On the highway, the result was different. With ethanol, the average dropped from 7.8 km/l to 7.6 km/l.
With gasoline, the number went from 10.8 km/l to 10.7 km/l.
The hybrid version, therefore, tends to favor mainly those who use the pickup within the city.
Engine T270 Maintains Power And Diesel Version Continues Without Electrification
The mild electrification did not change the technical specifications of the hybrid Toro.
The T270 engine delivers 176 hp of power and 27.5 kgfm of torque, the same numbers as the version without a hybrid system.
The set also appears in the hybrid Jeep Renegade. In the SUV, the reported savings were lower, at 9%.
The diesel version continues without any hybrid system. The model retains the 2.2 Turbodiesel engine, with 200 hp and 45.8 kgfm of torque.
This configuration remains the only one with all-wheel drive and stands out for its superior torque.
Pickup Gains More Safety And Technology In All Versions
The Fiat Toro 2027 also received more safety and technology equipment.
All versions now come standard with ADAS systems, a package that includes driver assistance features.
The list includes collision alert, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, automatic high beam, and adaptive cruise control.
The 7-inch digital panel also now equips the entire line.
The vertical multimedia center of 10.1 inches appears in the hybrid and diesel versions.
In the diesel configurations, Fiat included blind spot alert, rear cross traffic, and sequential LED turn signal.

Fiat Reacts to the Arrival of Volkswagen Tukan and BYD Mako
The arrival of the hybrid Toro occurs amidst the movement of new rivals in the mid-size pickup segment.
The Volkswagen Tukan was presented camouflaged and will have a mild hybrid option of 48 volts.
In practice, the technology will be similar to that used by the Toro, without an electric motor responsible for moving the wheels.
Volkswagen has not yet set the launch date for the Tukan. However, the pickup is unlikely to reach the Brazilian market in 2026.
The BYD Mako is also expected to compete for space with the Toro. According to Victor François, BYD’s communication supervisor, the model will be priced below the R$ 344,990 charged for the BYD Shark.
The Fiat Toro 2027 bets on mild electrification, standard safety, and a tech package to maintain strength against Volkswagen and BYD.
With new rivals arriving in Brazil, will the hybrid Toro be able to maintain its strength among mid-size pickups?
