As the year 2025 approaches, one of the most competitive selection processes in the country, the QSCon 2025, will open its applications, offering hundreds of positions in various areas.

The selection process for the Call and Incorporation of Mid-Level Professionals (QSCon) aims to fill positions for voluntary military service of a temporary nature, scheduled to start in 2025.

According to the FAB, this is one of the greatest opportunities for those with technical training who wish to work in various strategic functions within the corporation.

Applications and Requirements

Applications will open on October 10, 2024, and can be submitted until October 25, 2024, directly on the official website of the Brazilian Air Force.

The process will be entirely conducted electronically, ensuring accessibility for candidates from all states.

According to the Air Force Command, the basic requirements to participate in the QSCon include:

  • Be Brazilian;
  • Be at least 18 years old by the incorporation date;
  • Not have reached 41 years of age by the incorporation date;
  • Meet the specific requirements for the desired position.

These prerequisites are essential to ensure that the candidate is fit to join the positions offered by the FAB and meet the needs of the corporation in 2025.

Stages of the Selection Process

The QSCon 2025 will consist of several stages, aiming to ensure that the best professionals are selected. The process includes:

  • Document Submission;
  • Document Validation;
  • Curriculum Evaluation;
  • Initial Concentration;
  • Health Inspection;
  • Physical Conditioning Assessment Test (TACF);
  • Final Concentration and Qualification for Incorporation.

During the Physical Conditioning Assessment Test (TACF), candidates will be evaluated in different physical modalities, and it is necessary for both men and women to meet the established minimum requirements.

The following are the required parameters:

FEMS (Push-ups) 13 repetitions 9 repetitions
FTSC (Trunk Bend) 25 repetitions 15 repetitions
12-Minute Run 1,900 meters 1,600 meters

These requirements seek to ensure that the professionals called have the necessary physical capacity to perform the various roles offered by the FAB.

Positions by Specialty

In total, the QSCon 2025 selection process will offer 337 positions in various technical areas, such as administration, nursing, electronics, and aircraft mechanics.

As announced by the FAB, the positions will be distributed as follows:

  • Administration: 112 positions
  • Design: 3 positions
  • Electricity: 23 positions
  • Nursing: 61 positions
  • Electromechanics: 1 position
  • Electronics: 26 positions
  • Computer Science: 40 positions
  • Laboratory: 4 positions
  • Logistics: 7 positions
  • Aeronautical Mechanics (Avionics): 5 positions
  • Aeronautical Mechanics (Fuselage): 4 positions
  • Aeronautical Mechanics (Propulsion Group): 3 positions
  • Meteorology: 2 positions
  • Construction: 25 positions
  • Audio and Video Production: 2 positions
  • Photographic Processes: 2 positions
  • Radiology: 2 positions
  • Topography: 2 positions
  • Pavement: 5 positions
  • Nutrition and Dietetics: 7 positions
  • Chemistry: 1 position

The positions are distributed across various areas, covering practically the entire national territory.

The wide range of specialties available allows professionals from different sectors to find the perfect opportunity to join the FAB.

Specific Requirements by Position

Each area has its specific requirements, especially regarding the necessary technical training.

For instance, candidates for the administration position must have a technical course in administration or accounting with a minimum workload of 800 hours, while for the nursing area, it is necessary to have a technical course in the area with a minimum workload of 1,200 hours.

Other areas, such as electronics, computer science, and aircraft mechanics, also require specific technical training with durations ranging from 800 to 1,200 hours.

According to the FAB, it is essential for candidates to pay attention to the requirements of each position to avoid issues during the application and subsequent document validation.
