More than 600 luxury vehicles arrived at the Port of Itajaí on Friday afternoon (17), when the Victoria Highway docked at 1:30 PM. The new schedule increases the movement of cars in 2026 and reinforces the operational recovery of the terminal.
Arrival at the terminal
The giant ship docked at the port terminal at 1:30 PM, drawing attention for its size. The operation took place at the Port of Itajaí, which received another load of luxury vehicles on Friday.
A video recorded on-site shows the arrival of the ship with the cars. The Port of Itajaí reported that the channel was navigable and safe during the vessel’s entry.

Victoria Highway and the year-to-date total
With this call, the terminal has already totaled 2,115 vehicles moved in 2026. In total, four roll-on/roll-off ships have passed through the port this year, including Good Wood, Dover Highway, and the Victoria Highway itself.
The four calls reinforce the regularity of the port terminal’s operations this year.
The Good Wood transported 430 units. The Dover Highway carried 457 vehicles. In a previous call, the Victoria Highway had already passed through the terminal with 628 vehicles.
Confidence and competitiveness
According to superintendent Artur Antunes Pereira, the new call shows the sector’s renewed confidence in the terminal. He stated that the port is once again seen as an efficient option in the national scenario.
He noted that the regularity of operations and the conditions of the channel help in the recovery of the terminal’s competitiveness and in attracting new cargo.
The result, he stated, strengthens the public port and boosts the economy.
Artur Antunes Pereira also declared that the new movement reaffirms the strategic importance of Itajaí in the national logistics scenario.
