The natural gas power generation company, GNA – Natural Gas Açu, has opened registrations for the 2022 Internship Program. GNA is looking for university students who are driven by challenges and are interested in being part of the largest natural gas energy project in Latin America, entirely on Brazilian territory. There are several internship positions available to work at the Rio de Janeiro office and at the Port of Açu office, located in São João da Barra, the city where the company inaugurated the second largest natural gas thermoelectric plant in Brazil. The registrations for the internship program at GNA – Natural Gas Açu in Rio de Janeiro and São João da Barra will be open until November 21 of this year and can be done, directly on the company’s website.

The available positions in the GNA Internship Program are in the areas of Sustainability, Business Development, Communication, Regulatory, Implementation, Legal, and Operations.

GNA chose not to set specific course requirements, meaning the only mandatory prerequisite to apply for the positions is to have a graduation forecast between December 2022 and December 2023. Additionally, it is necessary to be available to work for 30 hours per week and have flexible hours.

Those who are approved in the program will be entitled to a scholarship compatible with the market offer, as well as medical and dental assistance.

The company will also provide life insurance, transportation, meal vouchers, a Christmas basket, Gympass, a Personal Support Program, and assistance and training for virtual work. The selection process will be entirely online and divided between a virtual test, a presentation video interview, individual interviews with managers, and feedback.

According to Maísa Resende, head of the HR and Communication department at GNA, the distinguishing factor of GNA’s Internship Program is the opportunity offered by the company to teach in practice about the daily life of the chosen profession, in addition to providing a dynamic, collaborative, and welcoming work environment.

Maísa also highlights that the selected candidates will participate in a career development program, including mentoring, job rotation, and various workshops. The most experienced professionals from each area will be chosen to mentor interns.

The main objective is to provoke insights about the development and skills of each young person. Each student will have the opportunity to explore other areas within the company and learn about the business plan in career workshops.
