São Paulo Government Opens Over 14,000 Positions for School Organization Agents; Role Requires Only High School Education

The Government of São Paulo Has Many Job Openings for People Interested in Being School Organizational Agents, a Position That Requires a High School Diploma.

The announcement from the Secretary of Education of the State of São Paulo (Seduc-SP) regarding the selection process aimed at the hiring of people for the position of school organization agent (AOE) has been published.

According to the announcement published by the Regional Education Directorate in the State Official Gazette, there are 14,159 openings for the position, which will have a simplified selection process.

What Does a School Organizational Agent Do

According to the information, a school organization agent has, among their duties, the role of controlling the movement of students within the school, assisting in maintaining general discipline, and contributing to school management in organizing activities.

According to the announcement, these openings are distributed among 91 Education Directorates that will publish, in the coming days, supplementary announcements aimed at providing more information about the selection process. These directorates will also be responsible for formulating and applying the tests, publishing the answer key, handling the appeal period, providing the results of appeals, and the final classification.

Job Openings and Salaries

Of the more than 14 thousand openings, 9,557 are intended for replacement and 4,846 related to the savings from the adjustment of SEE SP projects. Considering the published document, the starting salary for the position will be R$ 1,550, with a workload of 40 hours per week.

In the last selection process for the position, in 2018, there was a contest that covered the following topics in the objective test, which had 80 questions: Portuguese language (20), logical and mathematical reasoning (20), specific knowledge (20), and computer science (20).
