New Line of Credit With Reduced Interest Rates Promises to Help Exporters from São Paulo Face the Impact of US Tariffs.
Companies from São Paulo that export to the United States will receive support through a line of credit to face potential tariffs that come into effect in August.
Governor Tarcísio de Freitas announced the creation of the Exporting Credit Line, with credit of R$ 200 million and subsidized interest rates.

The new line of credit is aimed at entrepreneurs who maintain commercial relations with the North American market.

The goal is to preserve the competitiveness of companies, especially those with higher value-added products.
“We are providing the São Paulo business community with a set of measures to preserve the operations of companies and the jobs generated by them“, said the governor. “One of them is this new line of credit, with easier conditions and reduced rates.”
Financing Conditions
The Exporting Credit Line offers:
- Rates starting at 0.27% per month + IPCA
- Term of up to 60 months for repayment
- Grace period of up to 12 months
- Financing of up to R$ 20 million per client
Package of Measures
In addition to the new credit, the Government of São Paulo also announced the release of accumulated ICMS credits for exporters and the expansion of the Guarantee Fund, which facilitates access to credit.

Desenvolve SP is the development agency of the State, linked to the Secretary of Economic Development, and operates in financing micro, small, and medium enterprises.
This measure is part of a strategy to face the impacts of the tariff policy of the United States without weakening the productive base of São Paulo.
