The DF Government Opens 10,000 Free Spots in Preparatory Courses Aimed at the National High School Exam (Enem), College Entrance Exams, and Public Competitions. The initiative, announced by the Department of Economic Development, Labor and Income (Setrab), represents a unique opportunity for students seeking qualifications to enter higher education or a public career. Enrollment is already open and can be done until July 27.
This program aims to democratize access to quality education, offering not only classes but also all the necessary support for students to dedicate themselves to their studies. In addition to the immediate spots, a reserve list will be created with more than a thousand candidates to fill any potential withdrawals, ensuring that the maximum number of people benefits.
How to Participate in the Selection

To compete for one of the spots, interested individuals must meet some basic requirements. This is an opportunity for a wide audience, from young people still in high school to adults seeking a new chance in the job market.

The criteria for enrollment are:
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Have at least incomplete high school education.
- It is preferable that the candidate is registered at one of the Worker Agencies in the DF.
Enrollment must be done online, through the official Setrab website, until July 27. For those who do not have internet access, there is an option to register in person at one of the Worker Agencies spread throughout the Federal District.
Schedule and Course Details
It is essential for candidates to pay attention to the dates to avoid missing any step of the selection process. The organization of the program aims to ensure transparency and agility from registration to the start of classes.
Pay attention to the official schedule:
- Enrollments: From July 14 to 27.
- Announcement of Results: July 31, on the secretary’s website.
- Enrollment Period: From August 8 to 14, directly at the teaching centers.
- Start of Classes: Expected for August 18.
The courses will have a total workload of 240 class hours, with in-person classes distributed across five centers: Ceilândia, Taguatinga, Asa Sul, Planaltina, and Gama. There will be classes in the morning, afternoon, and evening, providing flexibility for students.
