Honda Redefines Its Scooter Line in Brazil, Discontinuing the Forza 350 and Focusing on More Accessible and Adventurous Models
Honda announced that the Forza 350 Scooter will leave the Brazilian market in 2025. This strategic move reflects the manufacturer’s shift towards more accessible scooters aligned with local consumer preferences. Launched in 2022, the Forza 350 Scooter was Honda’s attempt to offer a premium option in the segment, but it failed to achieve the expected popularity, according to News Motor.
The decision was communicated by the Japanese manufacturer, which emphasized the need to offer “modern scooters” that fit Brazilian consumers’ tastes. With the exit of the Forza 350, Honda aims to consolidate its presence in the entry-level segment, where more economical models have greater acceptance.
What Led to the End of the Forza 350?
The scooter market in Brazil is highly competitive, dominated by models that combine technology and accessibility. The Forza 350, imported from Thailand, featured a 330 cm³ engine, generating 29.2 hp and 3.24 kgfm of torque. Despite the robust specifications and advanced features, such as liquid cooling, CVT transmission, and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), the model faced challenges in the Brazilian market.

The new generation of the Jeep Renegade targets SUV consumers below US$30,000 (R$150,000), a price range for intermediate versions of the T-Cross and Nivus in Brazil. The model was discontinued in the US in 2023, according to MoparInsiders.
The high price, around R$ 50,300, was one of the main factors limiting the popularity of the Forza 350. In a country where cost-effectiveness is a crucial factor for consumers, the scooter could not effectively compete with more economical models.
Convenience and Safety Features of the Forza 350
The Forza 350 stood out for offering advanced convenience and safety features. The model came with an adjustable electric windshield, luggage space for two helmets, USB charging port, full LED lighting, and keyless technology. However, these benefits were not enough to offset the high price, especially when compared to cheaper and equally efficient alternatives.
The New Phase of Honda in Brazil
With the discontinuation of the Forza 350 Scooter, Honda reinforces its strategy to focus on entry-level and adventurous Scooter models. The brand’s scooter line, now consisting of Elite, PCX, ADV, and X-ADV, reflects this new approach. The PCX, for example, received updates for the 2025 version, including the ACG system and other technological innovations.
This strategic shift aims to better meet the profile of Brazilian consumers, who value the combination of affordability and modern features. The removal of the Forza 350 from the market is an example of how Honda is adjusting its offerings to remain competitive and relevant in Brazil.
