New Compact SUV From Honda Will Be Positioned Below The HR-V And Will Have Conventional Versions At Launch
According to Auto Esporte, the long-awaited launch of the new Honda WR-V SUV has taken another step! The automaker provided even more details about the anticipated entry-level compact from Honda, which will be launched in the market in the second half of 2025. According to Roberto Akiyama, vice president of sales at Honda, the new WR-V SUV could cost between R$ 120,000 and R$ 150,000, considering inflation and exchange rate variations.
Another reveal is that the new Honda compact will not have hybrid versions (at least for now), which was expected by the automotive market. The automaker’s flex hybrid technology will only be available in future versions of the brand’s vehicle. Honda’s plan is to launch the WR-V below the HR-V and make the newcomer the entry-level SUV of the brand.
