IBGE has a new selection process with open internship vacancies. In total, there are 300 vacancies without experience for students from all over the country.
O Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) published this week the complete list of places and courses contemplated for the selection process of paid interns (places without experience). The framework includes 316 immediate internship vacancies distributed among 23 courses in all states of the country, with monthly grants between R$ 787 and R$ 1,1, depending on the workload, which varies from 4 to 5 hours a day.
List of courses eligible to participate in IBGE vacancies without experience
In addition to the internship vacancies for immediate start, IBGE will also have a reserve list of approved candidates. Those interested in participating in the selective process must be studying from the 3rd period of higher education. The list released by the Centro de Integração Empresa Escola (CIEE), the panel organizing the event, includes the following graduations:

Offered in partnership with CIEE, IBGE's contracts for paid vacancies without experience will have minimum term of one semester and maximum term of two years. The selection process will be valid for one year, with the possibility of extending the same period, a period within which members of the reserve register may be invited.
The scholarship values are R$ 787,98 for a shift of 20 hours per week or 4 per day and R$ 1.125 for shifts of 69 hours per week or 30 per day. O phase of the IBGE will be held from Monday to Friday, at times and shifts defined by the entity. Those who are interested will also have a transport allowance of R$ 10 per day.
Apply for vacancies without experience
As previously mentioned, the selection process is organized by CIEE, which will receive registrations through its website between the next 8th and 23rd of May until 12:XNUMX noon, without charging a participation fee. According to the agency, upon completing the registration, the candidate will be able to start the online test on the CIEE website.
All candidates will be selected, in principle, through an online objective test, available during the same registration period, from May 8th to May 23rd. Once logged into the test, the interested party will have an average of two minutes to answer each question.
How will the evaluations of the IBGE selection process take place?
The exam for internship vacancies will have 20 multiple-choice questions equally distributed between Mathematics / Logical Reasoning, Portuguese, general knowledge or current affairs and Geography.
Each subject of the IBGE exams will have 5 topics:
Portuguese language
Spelling, punctuation, accentuation and use, classification or inflection of words (noun, article, adjective, numeral, adverb, pronoun, conjunction, preposition, verb, interjection, among others).
Geography
General characteristics of the Brazilian territory (geographical position, time zones, limits), formation of the national territory (expansion and economic cycles), regional division, political-administrative structure and demography.
Mathematics/Logical Reasoning
1st degree equation, reasoning, percentage, ratio and proportion, descriptive statistics, simple rule of three, probability, sampling technology and statistical inference.
The detailed list of guidelines and recommendations for carrying out the online tests is provided in item 6 of the public notice. Those who pass the exam will be invited to a final stage, which is the profile interview with the vacancy supervisor. According to the announcement, after classification in the interview phase, the hiring process and the signing of the internship commitment term will begin.
