The available courses in São Carlos are Technical in Quality, Technical in Aeronautical Maintenance in Cell, and Technical in Aeronautical Maintenance in Propulsion Group, all during the evening period. In Araraquara, there are 40 spots for the technical course in Mechatronics, also in the evening period.
Registrations
Registrations can be made until May 14 through the official IFSP website which can be accessed BY CLICKING HERE, where candidates must fill out an electronic form and a socioeconomic questionnaire. The registration fee is R$ 20.00, but candidates with a per capita family income equal to or less than 1.5 minimum wage can request a waiver of the fee until May 7.

Necessary Requirements to Participate in the Selection Process
The technical courses are intended for students who are currently attending or who have already completed high school. For the concomitant technical courses, it is necessary to be enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of high school at another school. There is no age limit to apply.
The selection process exam will be held on June 18 in the city chosen by the candidate. The assessment will last three hours and will consist of 30 multiple-choice questions on Portuguese language and mathematics knowledge, based on content covered from the 6th to the 9th grade of elementary education.
Affirmative Action Policy
IFSP has an affirmative action policy for the distribution of spots in its selection process for technicians. Thus, 50% of the spots in each course are reserved for candidates who completed elementary school entirely in Brazilian public educational institutions. In addition, there are spots designated for candidates with a per capita family income equal to or less than 1.5 minimum wage, self-declared black, brown or indigenous candidates, and candidates with disabilities.
