Starting in 2024, Women Will Be Able to Join the Marine Corps Soldier Training Course Through the Public Admission Competition
Women will have the opportunity to join the Marine Corps Soldier Training Course (C-FSD-FN) starting in 2024. Applications for the Public Admission Competition for classes I and II/2024 of the Marine Corps Soldier Training Course (C-FSD-FN) are already open. In total, 1,080 spots will be offered, with 984 for male candidates and 96 for female candidates.
Requirements and Information for Registration
To be admitted to the competition, candidates must be 18 years old and less than 22 on June 30, 2024, in addition to having completed high school. The first stage of the selection process consists of an educational exam, consisting of tests in Portuguese and Mathematics, with a date to be announced later on the website. Those approved in the initial stage will also undergo verification of biographical data and documents, psychological evaluation, health inspection, and physical fitness test for admission.
The opportunity for women to become a Marine Soldier completes the inclusion process of women in all branches, corps, schools, and training centers of the Navy. Now, simultaneous deployment of Officers and Enlisted personnel in operational ranks of the Force will be allowed. Interested in taking part in the competition? Marine Corps Soldier Training Course
The training course will be held at the Admiral Milcíades Portela Alves Instruction Center (CIAMPA), in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), and simultaneously at the Brasília Training and Instruction Center (CIAB), in Brasília (DF). The duration will be approximately seventeen weeks, under a full-time boarding regime until graduation.
