Who Can Register for the IFSP Selection Process?
Students who have completed elementary school or are currently enrolled in high school can participate in the selection process, depending on the chosen modality. For the Integrated High School Courses, candidates must have completed elementary school. Concurrent courses require that students are enrolled in the second or third year of high school at another institution. Finally, Subsequent courses are aimed at those who have already completed high school.
Additionally, candidates seeking reserved positions through affirmative actions should pay attention to the specific requirements of each modality, which include quotas for public schools, people with disabilities, and other criteria established by current legislation.
How Does the Selection Process Work?
The selection process at IFSP will be conducted through an objective test consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions. The test will cover content from Portuguese Language and Mathematics, based on subjects from the 6th to 9th grade of elementary school. The tests will be administered on October 20, 2024, and candidates must arrive at the test site at least one hour in advance.
If the number of registered candidates is less than or equal to the number of vacancies offered for a particular course, candidates will be automatically approved without the need to take the test. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to secure a spot more simply.
How to Register for IF Technical Courses?
Registrations for the selection process of IFSP 2025 must be made exclusively online at the official IFSP portal (https://processoseletivo.ifsp.edu.br). The deadline for registration ends on September 15, 2024, and candidates must follow the steps for system registration, filling out the registration form, and, if necessary, paying the registration fee.
For those who are selected, enrollment will occur between January 8 and 13, 2025, also online. In case of remaining vacancies, new calls may be made starting on January 14. Therefore, it is important for candidates to stay updated on the IFSP website.
