More than 1.800 vacancies in 18 cities

On Monday, August 12, 2024, IFCE released a notice that opens 1.800 vacancies for face-to-face technical courses in 18 cities in Ceará.

The opportunities are distributed across locations such as Acaraú, Aracati, Camocim, Crateús, Crato, Guaramiranga, Horizonte, Iguatu, Juazeiro do Norte, Maracanaú, Morada Nova, Paracuru, Pecém, Quixadá, Sobral, Tauá, Tianguá and Umirim.

The selection will be carried out in a single step and will be based on the grades on the candidates' academic records. The notice offers courses in areas such as Industrial Automation, Buildings, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance, IT Support, Environment and Workplace Safety, Among others.

Course and registration modalities

The majority of vacancies are for the subsequent modality, aimed at those who have already completed high school. However, the Maracanaú campus also offers concomitant courses for students who are attending high school and wish to take the technical course at an alternative time.

Applications for these vacancies can be made until August 25th on the official IFCE website here. The process is completely free and requires applicants to fill out an online form and submit the necessary documentation. Furthermore, the institution reserves a minimum of 50% of vacancies for public school graduates.

Vacancies and selection in the capital

For those who live in Fortaleza, IFCE also has registrations open for the local campus, with 430 places distributed across 13 courses. To the inscriptions must be carried out exclusively online until August 22nd on the Funetec website.

The registration fee is R$50,00, but there is an exemption for people registered in the Federal Government's Single Registry (CadÚnico). The exemption request must be made by Tuesday, August 13, on the same website, providing the Social Identification Number (NIS).

The courses available in the capital include Buildings, Electrical Engineering, Tour Guide, Musical Instrument, Automotive Maintenance, Industrial Mechanics and Workplace Safety. For the modality integrated into high school, there are vacancies in Buildings, Electrical Engineering, IT, Industrial Mechanics, Chemistry and Telecommunications.
