More Than 1,800 Slots in 18 Cities

On Monday, August 12, 2024, IFCE announced a selection notice that opens 1,800 slots for in-person technical courses in 18 cities in Ceará.

The opportunities are distributed across locations such as Acaraú, Aracati, Camocim, Crateús, Crato, Guaramiranga, Horizonte, Iguatu, Juazeiro do Norte, Maracanaú, Morada Nova, Paracuru, Pecém, Quixadá, Sobral, Tauá, Tianguá, and Umirim.

The selection will be conducted in a single stage and will be based on the candidates’ school record grades. The notice offers courses in areas such as Industrial Automation, Civil Construction, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance, IT Support, Environmental Studies, and Occupational Safety, among others.

Types of Courses and Applications

The majority of the slots are for the subsequent modality, intended for those who have already completed high school. However, the Maracanaú campus also offers concurrent courses for students who are still in high school and wish to take the technical course at different times.

Applications for these slots can be made until August 25 on the official IFCE website here. The process is entirely free and requires candidates to fill out an online form and submit the necessary documentation. In addition, the institution reserves a minimum of 50% of the slots for graduates of public schools.

Slots and Selection in the Capital

For those living in Fortaleza, IFCE also has open applications for the local campus, with 430 slots distributed across 13 courses. The applications must be done exclusively online until August 22 on the Funetec website.

The application fee is R$ 50.00, but there is a waiver for people registered in the Federal Government’s Unified Cadaster (CadÚnico). The waiver request must be made by Tuesday, August 13, on the same website, providing the Social Identification Number (NIS).

The available courses in the capital include Civil Construction, Electrical Engineering, Tour Guide, Musical Instrument, Automotive Maintenance, Industrial Mechanics, and Occupational Safety. For the integrated high school modality, there are slots in Civil Construction, Electrical Engineering, IT, Industrial Mechanics, Chemistry, and Telecommunications.

The selection process for Fortaleza will be conducted through a general knowledge test and an essay, scheduled for September 8. Classes are expected to start on October 16. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to advance your education and open doors to new careers!.
