There will be exemption for low-income candidates registered in CadÚnico, requested between October 16 and 30 by providing the NIS.
Who Can Compete and Course Models
The integrated technical courses are aimed at those who completed Elementary School and wish to attend High School with technical training at the same institution.
The subsequent technical courses are aimed at candidates who have already finished High School and are seeking technical qualification.
For those aiming at higher education, the offer includes different fields of knowledge at campuses distributed throughout the interior and the capital.
Selection Criteria: Report Card and Enem
The selection for integrated technical courses and subsequent technical courses will occur based on school performance, using the Portuguese and Mathematics scores recorded in the academic record during specific years defined in the announcement.
The analysis considers the averages reported by the candidate and follows pre-established calculation and tie-breaking rules.
For higher education, IFPA will use the best Enem performance between 2021 and 2025, considering the four areas of knowledge and the essay from the same edition.
The verification of scores is automated by the CEFETMINAS Foundation, with no need for candidates to submit proof of scores.
Distribution of Slots by Modality
Out of the total announced, 3,170 slots belong to Integrated Technical Courses, 1,775 slots to Subsequent Technical Courses, and 1,720 slots to Higher Education Courses.
The detailed list of courses by unit will be available in the PSU 2026 announcements, which also contain specific requirements and any prerequisites for technical training.
Campuses Offering in 2026
The opportunities are distributed among the campuses Abaetetuba, Altamira, Ananindeua, Bragança, Belém, Breves, Cametá, Castanhal, Conceição do Araguaia, Itaituba, Marabá Industrial, Óbidos, Paragominas, Parauapebas, Santarém, Tucuruí, and Vigia.
The list includes units with a tradition in technical courses and free degrees, facilitating access for students from different regions of Pará.
Reservation Policy and Affirmative Actions
Half of the slots for each course are reserved for graduates of public schools.
The other half corresponds to open competition and may include IFPA’s own affirmative actions, with part of the slots reserved and the implementation of a hetero-identification process for self-declared black candidates, according to the criteria in the announcement.
In addition to ethnic-racial quotas, the expected cuts are aimed at strengthening social inclusion, always with document verification at the enrollment stage.
Schedule, Fees, and Exemption
The application period runs from 16 to 11:59 PM on November 17, in an online environment.
The application fee is R$ 40 for technical modalities and R$ 60 for higher education.
Those proving low income and registered in CadÚnico may request exemption between October 16 and 30, providing the NIS in the system.
Results for exemptions and deadlines for appeals are published on the same PSU platform, and candidates with denied requests must ensure payment within the timeframe to remain in the process.
Steps After Classification and Enrollment
Once the application and document analysis phase is completed, IFPA publishes the classification lists by course and campus according to modality.
Before the enrollment habilitation, there will be a hetero-identification board for those approved who competed for slots reserved for self-declared black candidates.
Afterward, those called must present the required documentation, including school records and proof of completion of the level of education, as well as items that prove compliance with quota policies when applicable.
Documents and Attention to the Record
To avoid setbacks, it is recommended that candidates have in hand an official photo ID, CPF, and proof of schooling suitable for the chosen modality.
In technical courses, classification is based on the averages in Portuguese and Mathematics; therefore, checking the details of the school record is essential.
Incorrect or inconsistent information may result in elimination.
For higher education, the platform will read the Enem scores directly from the panel’s database, reducing the chance of error in data entry.
How to Register for the IFPA PSU
Participation is done entirely online. The candidate should access the Unified Selection Process Portal of IFPA, fill out the electronic form with personal and academic information, review the details, and confirm submission.
For those competing for integrated technical or subsequent courses, it is necessary to register the requested Portuguese and Mathematics averages.
For those interested in higher education, just provide the CPF, as the system automatically checks the Enem scores from 2021 to 2025 and considers the best performance.
In the end, it is essential to save the registration proof and to monitor, in the same environment, the publications related to exemption, approval, classification, hetero-identification boards, and calls for enrollment until 11:59 PM on November 17.
