The Federal Institute selection process is exclusively intended for selecting professionals who are interested in EAD Tutor positions for temporary work in the course offered by the institution, ensuring the smooth running of activities in the course and support for students. The activities are developed within the scope of the National Network for Continuing Education of Basic Education Teachers – Renafor.
There are 20 positions available for assistance in the course as Distance Tutor, for a duration of 4 months. The remuneration for the Federal Institute selection process is R$ 765, for a period of 4 months. A degree in any area and a link with a public institution or at least 1 year of teaching experience is required, along with the presentation of the deadlines for each stage proposed by the team.

How to Apply for the Federal Institute Selection Process
Applications for EAD Tutor positions are free and can be made until September 21, 2024, through the Form Provided in the Notice. The Federal Institute selection process for Distance Tutor will take place in two stages, which are: approval of applications and professional evaluation and scoring.
The selection for EAD Tutor positions will be conducted by the FIC Course coordination, and it is the responsibility of each candidate to correctly follow the selection stages. The final classification will be announced on the institute’s website, in descending order of each candidate’s score.
The FIC course “Challenges of Democratic Management and Its Relations with Human Rights Practices, Inclusive Education, and Diversity” (180h) will be offered in distance mode. Classes and activities will take place online, using IFRJ’s Moodle platform.
What Are the Responsibilities of the Distance Tutor?
It is entirely the responsibility of those approved for EAD Tutor positions to have computer equipment and a mobile phone with their own internet access, for managing, organizing, and executing the course tutoring activities and online meetings. The candidate must have a computer that allows for audio and video transmission for video conferences and participation in chats and discussion forums.
The tutor will also be responsible for mediating communication of content between the instructor and students, monitoring students’ activities according to the Course schedule, ensuring responses to students’ requests within a maximum of 24 business hours, assisting students with difficulties related to their study process, encouraging them to explore the didactic material, and helping them navigate solutions for the demands they present regarding course content, and conducting evaluations of students using the instruments specified by the responsible instructor, supervisor, or course coordination.
