The Selection Process is Accessible and Prioritizes Inclusion
The notice encompasses multiple forms of entry, expanding the chances of participation.
The following are eligible to apply:
- Students regularly enrolled at IFSULDEMINAS (internal transfer);
- Students from other public or private institutions with compatible courses (external transfer);
- Graduates seeking a new degree, regardless of the area (in compliance with the notice’s criteria);
- Former students whose enrollment was canceled or suspended within the allowed period (re-entry).
The criteria for occupying vacancies follows a priority order: first for internal transfer; then for external transfer; followed by new degree and re-entry.
In other words, if there are not enough candidates in one modality, the vacancies are automatically redistributed to the next categories.
Application is Free and Done Digitally
The entire application process is free and online, which facilitates the participation of candidates from different locations.
To apply, it is necessary to:
- Complete the electronic form available on the official IFSULDEMINAS website;
- Provide CPF, date of birth, and a valid email;
- Attach all required documents in a single PDF file.
Among the requested documents are the school transcript, proof of enrollment (in the case of transfers), diploma (for new degree), and personal documents.
Selection Prioritizes Academic Performance and Curricular Compatibility
The document analysis is the main stage of the selection, taking into consideration:
- Compatibility between the origin course and the intended course;
- School transcript and courses taken with credit;
- Criteria for tiebreakers based on age, as determined by the notice.
After the application period closes, the results will be announced according to the official schedule, and approved candidates must submit the necessary documentation to finalize the enrollment within the stipulated deadline.
