IFB Announcement: Applications Open for Basic Education Teachers
The Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB) has launched a notice for the selection of teachers for the Institutional Scholarship Program for Teaching Initiation (PIBID).
The goal is to fill positions for supervisors of PIBID, with the approval and release of scholarship quotas by CAPES, in addition to the qualification of schools by the Secretary of Education of the Federal District (SEE-DF) and by IFB.

Applications Until 08/23
Interested parties must submit their applications by 11:59 PM on August 23. To apply, it is essential that the candidate has an updated resume on the Freire Platform, detailing their teaching experiences.
Additionally, it is necessary to be approved in the selection process of PIBID conducted by the IES and possess at least 2 years of experience in basic education teaching.
Requirements and Subprojects
The requirements for application include being an effective teacher at the Partner School that will host the subproject and having a degree in the corresponding area.
However, there are exceptions: for the computing subproject, one can have a degree in computer science or a different area, as long as the candidate is working on IT projects.
For the interdisciplinary subproject of Second Degree in Portuguese Language and Professional and Technological Education, it is possible to have a degree in Portuguese Language or another area, provided that one works in a school that offers a technical high school course.
Details of the Scholarships
The PIBID project of IFB is structured into 12 subprojects, with 11 being disciplinary and 1 interdisciplinary. Each subproject can offer up to 3 scholarship quotas, except for the interdisciplinary subproject, which can grant up to 6 quotas.
The covered areas include literacy, biology, computing, dance, Spanish, physics, geography, English, Portuguese language, mathematics, and chemistry.
