IFTO Opens More Than 400 Spots in Free Distance Specialization Focused on School Management. Course Has Simplified Selection, Lasts 12 Months, and Has Mandatory In-Person Meetings at UAB Poles in Tocantins.
Public education professionals in Tocantins can register for 402 spots in the lato sensu postgraduate program in Public High School Management (GEPEM), offered by the Federal Institute of Tocantins (IFTO), Paraíso do Tocantins Campus, in partnership with the Open University of Brazil.
The training is free, with a total of 360 hours, offered in distance learning and has a simplified selection based on expression of interest, without a test.
Enrollment is linked to the academic semester 2025/2.

The opportunities are available at six UAB poles in the state.
According to notice 49/2025, the spots are distributed among Araguatins, Arraias, Colinas do Tocantins, Guaraí, Gurupi, and Paraíso do Tocantins, totaling 402.
In Paraíso, the offering is the largest; Colinas, Guaraí, and Gurupi also have strong class sizes.

Simplified Selection and Classification
The selection is entirely documentary and follows exclusively the criterion of expression of interest.
If the number of approved registrations at a pole exceeds the total offered, the classification will follow the chronological order of receipt of emails at the official address provided by the campus.
This rule applies to all participating poles and ensures a swift process.
The final result is scheduled for November 28, 2025.

The registration period is set from October 25 to November 16, 2025.
The expected admission to the course refers to the semester 2025/2, according to the opening notice.
