The Federal Institute of Paraná (IFPR) announced the opening of the selection process for free technical courses subsequent to high school in the online (EAD) modality. The slots are offered through Public Notice 173/2024 and distributed across various centers in the state. The aim is to provide professional training for those who have completed high school, increasing opportunities in the job market.
The online technical courses (EAD) are aimed at professional training at the technical level, allowing students to obtain a qualification recognized in the market. The programs are 80% online and 20% in-person or synchronous, using the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA/IFPR). The workload varies from 800 to 1,230 hours, depending on the course, and activities include classes, forums, seminars, and assessments.

The Federal Institute-IFPR offers slots in different centers spread throughout the state, allowing candidates from various regions to participate. Each center makes a specific number of slots available according to local demand. Among the free online technical courses (EAD) offered are Logistics, Occupational Safety, Environment, Public Services, and Sales.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be conducted through a public electronic lottery, ensuring transparency and equal opportunities. There are reserved slots for quotas aimed at self-declared black, brown, indigenous, quilombola individuals, people with disabilities, and public school students.
Requirements for Enrollment
To participate, candidates must have completed high school and possess a CPF and identity document. Internet access is also necessary to attend online classes (EAD).
