Fluminense Federal Institute-RJ Opens Selection Process for Substitute Teacher Job Openings with Salaries up to R$ 6,356.02.

The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology Fluminense (IFFluminense) in Rio de Janeiro has launched announcement nº 227/2024, which offers job openings for two substitute teachers. The selection process is for vacancies at the campuses of Guarus and São João da Barra. Selected professionals must have specific training in their areas. Applications for the selection process will be open from October 17 to 31.

About Job Openings at the Federal Institute

The job openings available at the Federal Institute are for the subjects of Anatomy and English. Each position requires specific training:

Anatomy: One opening for a candidate with a degree in physiotherapy or dentistry, completed at an institution recognized by the MEC.
English: One opening for a candidate with a degree in Portuguese/English language, also completed at an institution recognized by the MEC.

Selected teachers for the job openings at the Federal Institute will work 40 hours a week.

Registrations for the selection process at the Federal Institute must be made through the Federal Institute’s online portal.

The registration period runs from October 17 to 31. To participate, candidates must pay a registration fee of R$ 100.00.

However, there is the possibility of fee exemption for candidates registered in the Unified Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico) and who are part of low-income families.

This exemption is an opportunity for more people to register for the selection process and compete for job openings.

Stages of the Selection Process

The selection process will be divided into two stages. The first stage involves the analysis of resumes, while the second consists of a teaching performance test.

This test will take place on December 2 and will require the teacher to prepare and deliver a lesson lasting 30 to 40 minutes on a topic defined by the Federal Institute.

It is important for the teacher to be mindful of time, as the examining board will control the duration of the lesson.

The test is eliminatory and classificatory, meaning that only candidates who meet the examining board’s requirements will continue in the selection process.

This stage is crucial for selecting the best candidates for the available positions.

Validity of the Federal Institute’s Selection Process

The selection process of the Fluminense Federal Institute will be valid for two years, and may be extended for an additional two years, depending on the institution’s needs.
