Instrumentation Technician I

Requirements:

• Technical Education in Electronics, Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronic Instrumentation;
• Basic English;
• Experience and knowledge in basic and intermediate electrical commands, programmable logic controllers (PLC), basic supervisory systems, installation and maintenance of CCTV, fire alarm systems, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS);
• Understanding of electropneumatic systems;
• Fundamentals of instrumentation: basic and intermediate, basic industrial network fundamentals, fundamentals of electronics Soft-Start, and frequency inverter.

Activities:

• Inspect, calibrate, repair, and adjust measurement and control equipment such as: level, pressure, flow, weight transmitters, analyzers, pneumatic and electric actuators, valves, controllers, sensors, etc.;
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, as well as electrical lockouts. Following the instructions of the maintenance orders and CBMM’s procedures;
• Interpret electrical drawings and diagrams, technical instructions, technical manuals, and instrumentation flowcharts;
• Improve production and safety processes. Suggesting and proposing procedures, control, and measurement instrumentation techniques;
• Work safely, understand, maintain, and be responsible for daily routine and improvement indicators of the instrumentation and automation department.
