The FAETEC (Support Foundation for Technical Schools) announced the opening of 2,175 vacancies in free technical courses integrated with high school for 2026, offering a unique opportunity for young people who have completed elementary school.
Enrollment is open until November 6, 2025, exclusively through the institution’s online portal.
The aim is to prepare students for the job market, ensuring technical training and complete high school concurrently.

Senai will pay for you to take a course: in partnership with Petrobras, the program offers 4,000 free spots in technical courses with a certificate recognized by the MEC and a monthly allowance of up to R$ 800 to train professionals for the Brazilian industry.

The options include: Administration, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Logistics, Nursing, Naval Construction, Mechanics, Chemistry, Cultural Production, Tourism, among others.

Where to Study and Number of Vacancies at Each Unit
Vacancies are distributed across several units in Rio de Janeiro, allowing access for young people from different regions.
In Nova Iguaçu, ETE João Luiz do Nascimento offers 30 vacancies in Administration, 30 in Civil Engineering, 30 in Electronics, and 30 in Electrical Engineering, preparing students to work in administrative and industrial sectors.
In Saquarema, ETE Helber Vignoli Muniz provides 25 vacancies in each of the courses of Civil Engineering, Electromechanics, Hospitality, and Environment, combining technical training with sustainability and service management skills.
ETE Henrique Lage in Niterói stands out with courses in Naval Construction (25 vacancies), Civil Engineering (60), Electronics (25), Electrical Engineering (65), and Maintenance of Naval Machines (70), adhering to the region’s industrial and maritime tradition.
In Volta Redonda, ETP Amaury Cesar Vieira offers 30 vacancies in Administration, 30 in Internet Information Technology, and 30 in Logistics, areas geared toward the corporate and technology markets.
In the capital, ETE Adolpho Bloch offers 20 vacancies in Administration, 25 in Dance, 25 in Events, 20 in Tourism Guide, 20 in Hospitality, 20 in Audio and Video Production, and 10 in Advertising, catering to the creative and cultural sectors.

Requirements and Quota System
Candidates who completed Elementary School by the time of enrollment may apply.
FAETEC also reserves spots for quotas, including students from public schools, low-income individuals, Black, Brown, Indigenous people, and persons with disabilities, ensuring inclusion and diversity.
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted through a multiple-choice exam in Portuguese and Mathematics, scheduled for November 30, 2025.
Fee of R$ 58.00.
The final classification is made in descending order of scores, with tiebreakers considering the score in Portuguese, score in Mathematics, and the candidate’s age.
